Rui Fish | 250g |
Mustard Oil | 3 Tbs |
Green chili | 5-6 pieces |
Onion | 2 large |
Oil | 1/2 cup |
Salt | To Taste |
Hapima™ | 1/2 Packet |
How to make it

Marinate the fish pieces with a pinch of turmeric and salt. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the fish until cooked through. set aside

In the same oil, fry green chilies until they darken. Add the green chilies and half a packet of Hapima™, sautéing until aromatic.

In a bowl, combine the cooked fish, sautéed seasoning, and sliced onion. Mash everything together using a spoon or your hands until well blended.

Add salt to taste and mix in chopped fresh coriander leaves if desire. Enjoy your Rui Maacher Bhorta with hot steamed rice.
Tips of the day!
- Use dried red chili to spice up the bhorta experience.
